Bio:

          STEVEN T. WILLIAMS began dancing at the age of 9, when an organization decided to take children attending inner city schools and give them a sense of direction. Taking them off the street and into a dance studio. The program consisted training in Modern, Jazz,Tap, Ballet, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Voice, and more. They are called the National Dance Institute (NDI), founded by Jacques d’Amboise, of the New York City Ballet.  

          Steven's love for the arts continued to grow as he not only continued his education at NDI, but also attended the Theatre Department of LaGuardia H.S. for the Performing Arts. He went on to graduate from S.U.N.Y. New Paltz with a B.A. in both Technical and Performance Theatre, as well as a half a year of post graduate work at the acclaimed Moscow Art Theater.

          Performing has always been at the forefront of Steven’s life. He has had the opportunity to work alongside many actors, artists, choreographers, and dancers alike. All of whom have inspired him and the lives of others.  Some of his credits include projects for Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado, Jamie-Lynn, and many others. He has done commercials for Pepsi (Vanilla) & iPod, and was in the Off-Broadway production of The Harlequin Studies, starring Bill Irwin. He recently came off tour with Cirque Du Soleil’s production of Banana Shpeel. 

          Steven’s passion for expression will endure through all trials of life, which he hopes to express within his own art.  He considers a classroom full of students a canvas and the teacher as its painter.  “Let’s make Art!”
